What next, I have enrolled a level 3 coating inspector training course and made the fee payment?


If you have enrolled the coating inspector training (i.e. level 3) and paid the relevant course fee, you would receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of the course enrollment, the email will contain your enrollment number and the course study materials and MCQ's that you can use to prepare yourself for the coating inspector training and exam you have enrolled for. The course venue details are sent before 15 days of the course start.




What i would need to carry for the course?


You would need to carry a printout of the email that you received upon enrollment, your identification proof, and your latest passport size photograph (1 piece).




What are the exam duration and question types of coating inspector level 3 course?


The coating inspector level 3 course contains 120 MCQ's to be answered in 90minutes time. You would also have a practical exam that contains 15 MCQ's and runs for 45 minutes.




What percentage of marks required to clear the exam held on the fifth day of the course?


You would need to achieve 70% or higher marks in theory and practical papers.




I have cleared my exam, when would i get my certificate and wallet card?


It takes 2 to 3 weeks to produce the certificate and wallet card after the exam result. You would receive a scanned version of your certificate and card to your email before we dispatch the originals to your work or home address.




What if I am not successful in the exam?


An exam fail notice will be issued and sent to your email. You would have one more chance to re-attempt the exam within 90 days of the first attempt by paying the exam fee of USD 249.




What is the validity of the certificate issued by IOGS?


You would need to renew your certificate every 3 years by meeting the renewal requirements set by the IOGS.




I have taken my exam, what next?


If you have taken the coating inspector exam, you would need to wait for 2 to 3 weeks for the exam result to announce, you can check your result online on www.iogs.org using your enrollment number and the name.




What if i have not cleared the exam?


Exam fail notice will be issued and sent to your email. You may re-attemt the exam for by paying the exam fee of $49. Please send an email to training@iogs.org for more details on how you can re-take your exam.




What would be the validity of the coating inspector level 3 certificate issued by IOGS?


Any certificate issued by IOGS has its validity for 3 years. You would need to renew your certificate within 90 days of the expiry date mentioned on the certificate you have. You may write to training@iogs.org to know more about how you can renew a certificate issued by IOGS.
