FIREPROOFING INSPECTOR LEVEL 2
Online Course — Online Exam

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Fireproofing Inspector Level 2
Steel is a widely used material in an oil refinery or industrial process plant, as the industry deals with several highly combustible products, no industry is more prone to fire-related accidents than oil and gas. Passive fireproofing, when applied to the steel, retains the steel integrity intact for a certain period of time and prevents the steel from collapsing prematurely.
Our passive fireproofing inspector level 2 online course will make you learn the inspection and quality control skills of the epoxy-based intumescent fireproofing and the vermiculite-based cementitious fireproofing system.
The course is designed to learn from anywhere and at any time and place through the IOGS Learning Management System (LMS). For your convenience, the relevant course materials, interactive quizzes, videos, and the like, are all accessible online via the LMS by using a web browser of the computer, laptop, smartphone, or tablet.
Access to the LMS is given for 30 days, and within 30 days of the course enrollment, you take a web-based exam, which, if cleared, makes you eligible for Fireproofing Inspector IOGS/CFI Level 2 Certification.

MORE ABOUT FIREPROOFING
When we speak of fireproofing or more correctly passive fire protection (PFP), we generally are referring to a wide range of practices and products.
For the sake of better understanding, we can describe PFP as specific materials that are ingrained in our surrounding structures with the sole purpose of stopping fires from starting or spreading.
PFP can be said to be a default line of defense against a fire outbreak. Its role is to either limit the chance of a fire outbreak or significantly reduce how rapidly the fire spreads. Limiting the possibility of a fire starting or decreasing the speed of a fire buys enough time to evacuate occupants. Passive fire protection materials protect facilities in case there is an outbreak......
